Supporting Our Customers Through Hard Times
With careful and considerate management Cyber-Weld is still working hard to honour all their customers and continue to build new robotic welding systems.
With the use of modern technology and our flexibility to adapt to new working practices, Cyber-Weld has been able to hold project meetings with customers and sub-suppliers, continue with robotic programming phone support, robot service support, quotation development, tooling design, weld reach trials, cycle time analysis and concept discussions.
Cyber-Weld understands that we are all going through uncharted waters and that the standard manufacturing operations and milestones have had to evolve very quickly to address the current situation.
There still may be some hurdles to jump over but looking forward; the UK’s manufacturing and engineering platform must ramp back up in time to meet the needs of the Great British public and in doing so we must ensure that we are all prepared and production efficiency to meet the future requirements of our customers.
At this moment may we thank all those companies that have placed orders with us currently and those we are working with now and in the future. We are currently in the process of building four robotic welding cells; two of these cells are side-by-side welding cells with the robot mounted on a track. This configuration enables the robot to work or either fixture and more over allows fixtures to be changed without the robotic production.

The system is welding stainless steel components for an electrical controls supplier, as such the tooling of the parts and welding must be precise and repeatable to ensure that their end customer always receives perfect products. The robot we have installed in the system is a new AM 100id 8L with a Kemppi A7 weld system, two refurbished 1000kg positioners with 2.5m between head and tail stock and the robot is mounted on a refurbished 8m long track.
