Cyber-Weld Provides First Fully Integrated Fine Plasma Tube Cutting System to UK

Cyber-Weld, one of the leading providers of quality robot welding solutions, has designed and implemented one of the first integrated plasma tube cutting systems in the UK for a major fabrication manufacturer. 


 
The system consists of a Fanuc M16i Robot mounted on a 7m slide, of considerable proportions, to provide a stable cutting platform which can carry pipes from 200mm diameter to 1000mm diameter up to 8m in length.  Height is variable and fully programmable.

By integrating the set-up with accurate transferrable offline programs, Cyber-Weld has reduced cutting time by up to 400% and the dressing of weld preps to a minimum.
